Maggie Wilberforce

Hey, I’m Maggie and I’m one of this year’s presidents! I am in my third year of the Honours Integrated Science program concentrated in Biology. I have been involved with WE for 2 years now and have had the opportunity to travel to both Kenya and Ecuador with ME to WE. I love this movement so much and I cannot wait to continue working with WE through this club to make positive change in the world. Hi! I’m Simrun and I’m one of this year’s presidents for FTC. I’m currently in my third year in the Honours Biochemistry program at McMaster. As Co-President I’m excited about planning and organising events with my amazing team to reach out goal for this year - which is raising money for opportunity initiatives in Kenya. This club is giving me an incredible platform to help raise awareness and make an impact. I can’t wait to see what WE accomplish this year Mac! Hi, I’m Miray! I am completing my third year of an Honours BA in Political Science with a minor in Philosophy. I am very passionate about doing what I can to spread FTC's goal of empowering others to make a difference, both on and off campus. As a returning executive member, I am looking forward to another year of coordinating events that will help empower young people and make a change.

Hey McMaster! My name is Josh and I am this year’s VP Admin! I am a second year student in the Honours Bachelor in Social Work program and will be completing a minor in Social Justice and Inclusive Communities. I have been involved with WE for 5 years now and I am super excited to take on this position and continue to fight for change!

Sydney Snelling

I’m Sydney, a third year student in Integrated Business and Humanities. I’m so excited to be a part of Free The Children this year, especially after having gone to the Amazon with Me to We last fall. I have always loved Me to We and all that they do for the communities they work in. I’m looking forward to working with them this year to help impact their change in Kenya! I'll be the one this year running the social media pages, come say hi!

Hey everyone! I’m Victoria, a third year student in the Honours Biology Discovery program. This is my second year involved with the Free the Children McMaster team as there VP Awareness, but before that I was involved with Free the Children for eight years! As VP Awareness, I’m looking forward to keeping students informed about the importance of getting involved in both their community and raising awareness about our initiative this year: Opportunity in Kenya!

Hi everyone! I’m Kelly, currently a fourth year student in Honours Life Sciences. This is my second year being involved with Free the Children - McMaster and this year I will be serving as one of the VP Awareness execs. Hey Mac! I’m Ashumi, and I am currently in my second year of Life Sciences, with a specialization in Biopsychology. This is my third year with Free the Children, and I truly feel that this organization takes initiative to create opportunity and empower society. I look forward to interacting with individuals in the McMaster community that strive to create change and encourage positiveness, and work with them to create a better tomorrow. Hi, I’m Ryyan! I am a second year student in the Molecular Biology and Genetics program at McMaster. I’ve been involved with Free The Children for six years and I am passionate about social change. I’m very excited to be a part of the team as VP Fundraising and look forward to helping organize fundraisers.

Hey, I’m Lydia! I’m currently in my 3rd year of Honours Kinesiology at McMaster. I first heard of Free the Children way back in elementary school and have been involved ever since. I’m very excited to be a part of the executive team, and can’t wait to see all of you guys at the events, doing your part in creating change for the better.

Hey! I’m Richa and I’m in my 3rd year of Life Sciences Co-op. I have always been involved in Free the Children in high school so I am excited to now get back into FTC at McMaster. I love getting involved, playing the piano/ukelele and singing (even though I’m not the best at it)!!!
